What is Fluid Power?

Fluid Power is the use of fluids under pressure to generate, control, and transmit power and is subdivided into:

• Hydraulics using a liquid such as oil or water, and
• Pneumatics using a gas such as air or other gases.

Hydraulic principles make up parts of our everyday life, from monitoring the weather to moving heavy objects.

Fluid power is used in industries such as Aeorspace, Automotive, Agricultural, Construction, Entertainment, Robotics, Mining, Material Handling, and Packaging, to name a few.
